Role Description This is a full time, on-site Sales Consultant role based at Capital Honda in Chennai. The Sales Consultant will engage with prospective and existing customers, understand their vehicle needs, and recommend suitable Honda models and financing options. Daily responsibilities include conducting showroom walk-ins and follow-ups, explaining product features and benefits, arranging test drives, and preparing quotations. The role involves coordinating with the sales and finance teams to complete documentation, ensuring timely delivery of vehicles, and maintaining accurate records in the dealership's systems. The Sales Consultant is also expected to support promotional activities, meet defined sales targets,



and contribute to a positive, customer-focused showroom environment.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess solid Sales Consulting and Consulting skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and offer suitable solutions.
Candidates should possess solid Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, focused on building long-term relationships and repeat business.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear verbal communication and professional interaction with diverse customers.
Basic knowledge of automotive products and financing options, with a willingness to learn Honda-specific offerings.
Proven ability to work towards sales targets, maintain organized records, and collaborate within a team-based dealership environment.
Prior experience in automobile sales or retail sales is preferred, though motivated entry-level candidates may be considered.
Minimum educational qualification of a high school diploma; a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
Comfort working on-site in a showroom setting, including weekends and peak sales periods as required.
