Experience: 12–15+ years of core Instructional Design experience

Location : Chennai, Perungudi

Role Overview: Manage the Instructional Design function, drive instructional quality and standards, build AI-first ID capabilities within the team, mentor and develop ID talent, and provide senior-level instructional expertise across projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead, mentor, and develop the Instructional Design team, ensuring quality, consistency, productivity, and effective resource utilization.
- Perform reviews of ID deliverables across Design, Storyboard, and final Output stages, ensuring instructional effectiveness, content accuracy, client alignment, and quality standards.
- Drive instructional design standards, frameworks, review practices, and best practices across the team, while identifying recurring quality gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure projects are delivered within estimated ID efforts, while meeting client expectations and maintaining instructional quality.
- Provide a consultative approach to clients, advising on instructional design strategies, learning approaches, learner engagement, and effective content treatment.
- Drive AI-first adoption within the ID function, identifying relevant AI use cases across the ID lifecycle and training the team on effective AI usage, prompting, tool selection, validation, and human review.




- Leverage AI and automation to improve ID productivity, efficiency, turnaround time, and quality, while ensuring appropriate human oversight.
- Collaborate with Sales, PM, Multimedia, Production, QA, SMEs, and clients to ensure effective project execution and alignment.
- Drive capability development and continuous improvement within the ID function through mentoring, knowledge-sharing, process improvements, and adoption of emerging learning technologies.

Desired Profile

- 12–15+ years of hands-on Instructional Design experience, preferably in eLearning/digital learning.
- Strong experience in ID leadership, instructional strategy, quality management, and team development.
- Solid understanding of eLearning, video, simulations, gamification, blended learning, and other digital learning formats.
- Strong AI expertise and practical experience applying AI tools across the instructional design lifecycle.
- Ability to use and train and enable teams on effective and responsible AI adoption.
- Excellent client/stakeholder communication, consultative, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to balance instructional quality, client expectations, timelines, and ID efforts.
