Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled API Automation Test Engineer with solid experience in API testing using Rest Assured and backend validation using SQL. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing automation frameworks, validating RESTful services, and integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.

Roles & Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain API automation scripts using Rest Assured.
Validate REST APIs, request/response payloads, status codes, headers, and schemas.
Perform backend database validation using SQL queries.
Create and execute automation test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing.
Build and enhance reusable automation frameworks.




Integrate automation suites with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.
Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers for resolution.
Prepare test reports and maintain automation documentation.
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as Sprint Planning, Stand-ups, and Retrospectives.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Solid hands-on experience in API automation using Rest Assured.
Positive knowledge of SQL joins, queries, subqueries, stored procedures, and data validation.
Experience with Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI.
Knowledge of Git, Maven, Jenkins, and defect tracking tools like JIRA.
Strong analytical and debugging skills.
