Job Summary

We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer with experience in technical sales and business development. The candidate will be responsible for generating new business, understanding customer technical requirements, and providing suitable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate recent business opportunities through cold calling, emails, LinkedIn, customer visits, references, and networking.
- Identify potential customers and develop new business opportunities.
- Understand customer technical requirements, drawings, BOMs, specifications, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with the engineering/project team to develop suitable technical solutions and quotations.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, quotations, and proposals to customers.
- Conduct customer meetings and site visits to understand requirements.
- Follow up on enquiries, quotations, negotiations, and order closures.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.




- Achieve assigned sales targets and business development objectives.
- Coordinate with internal teams for timely execution of customer requirements.
- Maintain proper records of enquiries, quotations, follow-ups, and sales activities.

Required Skills

- Strong technical understanding and sales aptitude.
- Good knowledge of engineering/automation/manufacturing/refrigeration products and applications.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and BOMs.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic reporting.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings and site visits.

Eligibility

- B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or a relevant engineering discipline.
- 1–3 years of experience in technical sales, industrial sales, automation, engineering, manufacturing, or related industries.
- Candidates with strong technical knowledge and business development skills will be preferred.
