Vedic Systems is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager / Technical Project Manager to lead enterprise technology and digital transformation initiatives from planning through successful delivery.

The ideal candidate will work closely with clients, business stakeholders, technical leadership, architects, developers, QA teams, and senior management to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, while maintaining high quality and customer satisfaction.

The candidate should combine strong project management, client management, technical understanding, delivery leadership, and team management skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end delivery of multiple software/technology projects.
- Define project scope, objectives, milestones, deliverables and timelines.
- Work closely with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable project plans.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients and senior stakeholders.
- Manage cross-functional teams including developers, architects, QA, DevOps, BA and UI/UX teams.
- Coordinate with technical leadership and architects on solution design, technology decisions and delivery approach.
- Track project progress, dependencies, risks, issues and deliverables.
- Identify potential delivery risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Conduct project status meetings and provide regular updates to leadership and clients.
- Manage project budgets, resource allocation and utilization.
- Ensure effective communication between business and technical teams.
- Drive Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives.
- Manage scope changes, priorities and client expectations.
- Ensure projects meet quality, security and compliance requirements.
- Support estimation, proposal preparation, project planning and resource forecasting.
- Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes, methodologies and project governance.




- Mentor Project Managers and team members where required.
- Work with senior management on strategic initiatives, technology transformation and organizational priorities.

Required Skills Project & Delivery Management
- 10+ years of experience in IT/software project management.
- Strong experience managing end-to-end software development projects.
- Robust knowledge of Agile, Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.
- Experience managing multiple projects/workstreams simultaneously.
- Strong experience with project planning, estimation, budgeting, resource management and risk management.
- Excellent stakeholder and client management skills.

Technical Understanding The candidate does not necessarily need to be a hands-on developer, but should have strong technical understanding of:
- Enterprise applications
- Cloud technologies AWS / Azure / GCP
- Microservices architecture
- APIs and integrations
- Databases – SQL / PostgreSQL / Oracle / MongoDB
- Java / .NET / Node.js or similar enterprise technologies
- DevOps and CI/CD
- SaaS platforms
- Mobile/Web applications
- Enterprise application modernization
- AI/ML/GenAI initiatives – added advantage

Leadership & Client Management
- Strong executive communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with CXO-level stakeholders and clients.
- Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to manage geographically distributed teams.
- Strong business and customer orientation.
- Ability to understand business problems and work with technical teams to develop practical solutions.
