- Primary skills: End-to-end project delivery from initiation and discovery through planning, execution, release, transition and closure.

Role purpose

Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex integration and digital transformation initiatives, with particular emphasis on MuleSoft, B2B integration solutions. The role connects business outcomes, technical delivery and stakeholder expectations, ensuring projects are governed effectively and delivered predictably across scope, schedule, budget, quality and risk.

What you will own

- End-to-end project delivery from initiation and discovery through planning, execution, release, transition and closure.

- Integrated delivery plans covering milestones, dependencies, resourcing, environments, testing, cutover and operational readiness.

- Governance across scope, schedule, budget, quality, risks, issues, assumptions, decisions and change control.

- Coordination of cross-functional teams including architects, developers, integration specialists, QA, DevOps, security, operations and business stakeholders.

- Client-facing communications, steering updates,



status reporting and timely escalation of delivery risks and decisions.

- Technical delivery alignment for MuleSoft APIs, integrations and B2B interfaces, working with engineering leads to manage dependencies and delivery constraints.

- Resource and capacity planning, vendor coordination, financial tracking and forecast-to-complete management.

- Quality gates, release readiness, cutover planning, hypercare and structured handover to support or managed services teams.

- Continuous improvement through retrospectives, delivery metrics, lessons learned and reusable project controls.

Essential experience and capabilities

- 10 years of project management experience delivering complex enterprise technology programmes or projects.

- Demonstrable experience leading MuleSoft delivery, including API-led integration and B2B integration initiatives.

- Strong understanding of the software delivery lifecycle, integration delivery, testing, release management and production transition.

- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams, third parties and senior stakeholders in a matrix environment.

- Strong command of project planning, estimation, resource management, financial control, RAID management and change governance.

- Ability to challenge technical teams constructively, translate technical constraints into business impact and drive decisions to closure.

- Excellent written, verbal, facilitation and client-facing communication skills.

- Hands-on experience with delivery and collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet and modern document collaboration platforms.

Preferred qualifications

- PMP, PRINCE2, Secure, Scrum or an equivalent recognised project management or agile delivery certification.





- MuleSoft certification or meaningful delivery experience working with certified MuleSoft architects and developers.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

- Experience delivering projects in regulated, security-conscious or globally distributed environments.

Success in the role

- Should be able to deliver under tight timelines and multi-project execution responsibilities

- Risks, dependencies and decisions are identified early and owned to closure.

- Business and technical stakeholders have a shared view of scope, progress and outcomes.

- Project financials, delivery metrics and governance artefacts remain accurate and decision-ready.

You are a technically credible project leader who brings structure without creating bureaucracy. You are comfortable working with senior clients and engineering teams, can navigate ambiguity, and maintain delivery momentum while protecting quality, security and operational readiness.
