Core Responsibilities
Understand and analyse software requirements and use cases to create effective test scenarios and test cases.
Execute manual and automated test cases to verify application functionality, usability, and performance.
Log, track, and re-test defects using standard defect management tools (e.g., JIRA or OpenProject).
Conduct regression, integration, and functional testing across different platforms and devices.
Collaborate with developers and other QA team members to resolve issues and ensure timely deliveries.
Support test planning activities and contribute to test documentation and reports.
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Ensure testing activities are conducted in compliance with the teams processes and standards.
Analyse root causes of issues and communicate effectively with technical teams.





Preferred Skills
Hands-on experience with manual testing, test case design, and defect lifecycle management.
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Familiarity with Security Testing, Performance Testing, DB and API Testing tools.
Basic understanding of SQL queries for validating backend data.
Exposure to both Linux and Windows settings.

Desired Skills
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field.
ISTQB Foundation or equivalent testing certification (preferred).
Exposure to version control systems like Git.
Positive documentation, analytical, and communication skills.
