Role Overview
We are seeking a PeopleSoft Technical Consultant to develop, enhance, and support applications in a highly customized PeopleSoft HCM workplace. The role requires robust technical development skills, troubleshooting expertise, and the ability to translate business requirements into reliable application solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and enhance PeopleSoft HCM applications and customizations.
Implement business logic and batch processes using People Code and Application Engine.
Build and maintain interfaces and integrations using Component Interface and Integration Broker.
Develop and modify BI Publisher reports to meet business and operational requirements.
Investigate application issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.
Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to understand requirements and prepare technical specifications.
Perform unit testing,
support integration testing and user acceptance testing, and assist with deployments.
Assess the impact of changes on existing customizations and integrations.
Maintain technical documentation and follow established development, security, and change management standards.
Required Skills
Advanced proficiency in PeopleSoft technical development.
Hands-on experience developing and supporting highly customized PeopleSoft HCM applications.
Robust expertise in:
PeopleCode
Application Engine
Component Interface
Integration Broker
BI Publisher
Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with technical and functional teams.
Availability to work onsite in Fort Area, Mumbai.
Preferred Experience
Experience supporting banking or PSU banking customers.
SQL troubleshooting and performance tuning experience in a PeopleSoft environment.
