Job Summary

The Direct Sourcing Leader - APAC is responsible for accelerating supplier performance and drive improvements in key areas for Cytiva from Quality, Cost, Delivery and Security perspective for a portfolio of suppliers.

Responsibilities
Develop, communicate and execute Sourcing strategies for a local portfolio of suppliers, ensuring cost efficiency, quality and delivery performance. Drive ongoing supplier optimization and continuous improvement.
Participate in Recent Product Introduction projects as well as activities related to quality and fulfilment.
Perform continuous monitoring and development of suppliers together with Supplier Delivery Leaders and Supplier Quality.
Act as local escalation point for buyers in case of poor delivery performance from suppliers.
Negotiates favorable terms, volume discounts and long-term contracts with suppliers, and prepares and processes requisitions and purchase orders for the procurement of goods, services and supplies for customer-related business processes or for internal use.

Qualifications




Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Production Technology, Logistics or High school with minimum 7 years work experience from Sourcing or relevant Supply Chain role.
Work experience from Sourcing or relevant Supply Chain role
You have the ability to manage and develop supplier relationships
You connect well with all levels within an organization and your track record show that you deliver on your commitments.
Analytical mind and data driven
Willingness to travel
Preferably you have experience from working with ERP systems, eg Oracle
