Technical Project Manager

About the Role

Bounteous is seeking a Technical Project Manager (TPM) to manage and drive delivery of complex, multi-workstream technical programs for a leading global hospitality brand. This is a hands-on delivery leadership role at the center of enterprise technology implementations spanning software engineering, data platforms, martech, CRM, and analytics ecosystems.

The TPM will be a full-time Bounteous employee based in India, working as part of our global delivery model and partnering closely with onshore engagement leadership, client stakeholders, technology vendors/partners, and a cross-functional implementation team. You will own delivery cadence, cross-workstream dependencies, and day-to-day execution keeping technically complex, multi-source engineering and data programs on track and transparent, regardless of the underlying platform or technology stack.

The Engagement

Bounteous delivers enterprise technology programs end to end, which may include:

- Software & application delivery: Custom development, system integrations, APIs, and release management across the SDLC.
- Platform configuration and integration: Configuration of SDKs, APIs, and data collection/event forwarding across web, mobile, and server-side sources.
- Data platform enablement: Schema design, dataset management, identity resolution, and unified customer profile enablement.
- Orchestration and activation: Journey/workflow design, audience activation, and omnichannel orchestration built on profile and event data.
- Analytics and reporting: Cross-channel reporting configuration data connections, data views, and stakeholder-ready analysis workspaces.

Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of technical engagements — planning, sprint execution, milestone tracking, and release readiness across all workstreams, spanning both software engineering and platform/data initiatives.
- Drive cross-workstream dependency management,



ensuring upstream decisions (architecture, schema design, identity strategy, data source configuration) are locked before dependent downstream work begins.
- Coordinate data source onboarding across batch ingestion (e.g., cloud data warehouses), streaming SDKs, and direct transactional events — including source-system-owner alignment on shared schema contracts and field mappings.
- Run agile ceremonies and manage the Jira board: backlog grooming, sprint planning, estimation, velocity tracking, and burndown reporting.
- Serve as the primary offshore delivery point of contact — provide clear, proactive status reporting to Bounteous engagement leadership and client stakeholders; manage RAID logs and escalate early.
- Facilitate technical decision-making — chair design and architecture reviews, drive open questions to closure with engineering leads, technology vendors, client architects, and source system owners, and document decisions.
- Manage scope, change requests, and timelines; maintain the project plan and resource forecast in partnership with account leadership.
- Coordinate UAT, validation, and go-live activities including code/data quality checks, functional testing, and reporting sign-off.
- Bridge time zones effectively — structure overlap hours, async updates, and handoffs so the India-based team and US-based client stakeholders stay in sync.

Required Qualifications
- 7–10 years of experience in technical project management or delivery management, with experience across software/engineering delivery (SDLC, application development, integrations)



as well as digital/martech or data platform implementations.
- Working knowledge of software engineering delivery practices (architecture reviews, release management, CI/CD, technical debt tradeoffs) in addition to enterprise martech, CDP, or data platforms (e.g., Adobe Experience Platform, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Segment, mParticle, Snowflake, or similar)
- Understanding of customer data flows: streaming collection via web/mobile SDKs, batch ingestion from cloud data warehouses (e.g., Amazon Redshift, Snowflake), and event-driven architectures.
- Proven agile delivery experience — running sprints, managing Jira, estimation techniques, and velocity-based planning for mixed-discipline technical teams.
- Experience in offshore/onshore delivery models, working with North American clients from India, with excellent written and verbal English communication.
- Strong stakeholder management — comfortable presenting status, risks, and trade-offs to client director- and VP-level stakeholders.
- Flexible working hours with a defined overlap window with US time zones (client is headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona — MST) for client ceremonies and stakeholder syncs.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications
- Platform certification(s) relevant to the engagement's technology stack (e.g., Adobe AEP Technical Foundations, Real-Time CDP, AJO Business Practitioner, CJA Business Practitioner, Salesforce, Segment, or equivalent).
- Prior experience managing custom software development projects (web, mobile, or backend systems).
- Exposure to tag management, data streaming, event forwarding, or server-side collection tooling.
- Familiarity with Cloud services like AWS services (S3, Redshift, IAM/STS) as they relate to data ingestion.
- PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or Secure certification.
- Experience using AI-assisted tooling to accelerate delivery documentation, reporting, and analysis.
