Technical Lead/ Architect - Menddix

About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Lead with deep expertise in Mendix to spearhead digital transformation through lowcode application development. This role demands robust technical acumen, leadership, solution architecture skills, and stakeholder collaboration to design, develop, and deliver enterprisegrade applications on the Mendix platform.

Key Responsibilities

- Mendix Development: Lead endtoend application design, development, deployment, and maintenance.
- Solution Architecture: Ensure scalability, performance, and adherence to best practices.
- CrossFunctional Collaboration: Work with analysts, designers, and engineers to define requirements and timelines.
- Team Leadership: Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and drive sprint planning.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Translate business objectives into technical solutions.
- Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce development best practices.
- Risk & Security: Identify and resolve architectural bottlenecks, vulnerabilities, and integration issues.
- Innovation: Stay updated on lowcode/nocode trends, especially Mendix.




- DevOps: Drive CI/CD adoption and optimize DevOps processes for Mendix.

Required Skills & Experience

- 10+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years in Mendix (v9+).
- Proven track record of delivering complex, scalable enterprise applications.
- Certified Mendix Advanced or Expert Developer (preferred).
- Expertise in microservices, REST APIs, OData, and enterprise integrations.
- Strong knowledge of domain modelling, page design, and workflow configuration.
- Handson experience with Java, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and external integrations.
- Solid grasp of design patterns, ALM, and agile methodologies.
- Exposure to cloud deployments (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with unit testing, automation, and performance tuning in Mendix.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, IT, or related discipline.
- Experience with Mendix Data Hub, ERP integrations, or legacy modernization.
- Mendix Advanced Developer Certification is a must.
