12+ years Adobe Commerce / Magento: 5+ years Role Overview : We are looking for a Technical Architect with strong expertise in Adobe Commerce/Magento 2 and full-stack development.

The role involves working closely with clients and business stakeholders to understand requirements, design technical solutions, and lead the engineering team through implementation and delivery.

The candidate should be hands-on technically while also having strong team leadership, mentoring, and people-management skills.

The candidate should also possess expertise in working with other composable package eCommerce solutions like Commercetools, SFCC, Shopify or others in association with PBCs for search / CMS like Constructor, BR, Content Stack, Contentful etc. Should have good grasp on event driven architecture orchestrated from a cloud service provider perspective like AWS, GCP or Azure.

Should possess positive knowledge of the core services these CSPs provide.

Key Responsibilities

- Work with clients and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.

Design and lead Adobe Commerce/Magento 2 architecture and integrations. Lead full-stack development, preferably using Next.js, React and TypeScript.

Develop and review custom Magento modules, APIs, GraphQL extensions, integrations, batch jobs, and asynchronous processes.

Drive performance optimization across Magento, MySQL, caching, indexing, and backend services.

Lead and mentor the development team, manage technical delivery, assign work, and ensure quality and timelines.





Conduct architecture/design reviews and code reviews.

Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, DevOps, and other cross-functional teams.

Troubleshoot complex technical and production issues.

Drive Agile development practices and contribute to CI/CD and DevOps initiatives.

Strong knowledge of Magento 2 architecture and development best practices.

Strong PHP, MySQL, TypeScript skills.

Full-stack development experience; Next.js/React preferred.

Strong experience with REST APIs and GraphQL.

Experience building custom Magento modules and extending GraphQL.

Strong understanding of Magento indexing, caching, performance, cron/batch jobs, and asynchronous processing.

Experience with RabbitMQ/Kafka or similar messaging systems.

Experience integrating with third-party services such as ERP, CRM, search, payment, and other enterprise platforms.

Experience with multi-website, multi-store, multi-language, and multi-currency implementations.

Strong client/stakeholder communication and solutioning skills.

Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage a technical team, not just provide technical guidance.

Experience with Git, CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Agile/Scrum, and automated testing.

Good to Have : Adobe Commerce certification – Professional/Expert.

Headless commerce experience.

Strong Next.js experience.

Experience with constructor.io integration Cloud, microservices, event-driven architecture, and IaC experience.

Understanding of application and infrastructure security.

Strong communication, ownership, problem-solving, and learning mindset.
