Job Summary

Avaloq is seeking a Senior Kubernetes & Cloud DevOps Engineer to support the design, implementation, and operation of our cloud-native platform. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in Kubernetes, Linux, Cloud Infrastructure, and Terraform, with a passion for automation, scalability, security, and reliability. You will work closely with platform, security, and application teams to build and maintain resilient infrastructure in a mission-critical financial services setting.

Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, manage, and optimize Kubernetes platforms across cloud and hybrid environments.
Manage Kubernetes cluster lifecycle activities including provisioning, upgrades, scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Implement best practices for Kubernetes networking, security, storage, and high availability.
Build and maintain secure, scalable,



and highly available cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, including reusable modules and automated provisioning frameworks.
Administer and troubleshoot Linux systems, focusing on performance, security, patching, and system reliability.
Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines to improve deployment automation and operational efficiency.
Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions to ensure platform reliability.
Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to improve platform capabilities and developer experience.
Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and platform standards
