Position Summary The Packaging Team Lead reports to the Assistant Manager, Packaging and is responsible for managing day-to-day production activities, ensuring accurate and on-time delivery of all packaging orders. This role demands strong coordination, analytical, and leadership skills to guide a team of Packaging QC Engineers and Process Experts.

The Team

Lead plays a key role in maintaining quality, implementing process improvements, and ensuring adherence to client specifications and internal SOPs. Collaboration and adaptability are crucial, as the Packaging team supports a 24/7 global delivery model.

Outcomes and Accomplishments

As a Packaging Team Lead, you will:

- Ensure packaging processes are followed and delivery timelines are consistently met.
- Review daily and weekly team metrics, flagging concerns and potential risks to the Manager.
- Maintain clear visibility of all active projects and proactively address workflow bottlenecks.
- Monitor team performance, conduct quality reviews, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Support the Manager in planning schedules, assigning work, and maintaining operational documentation.




- Lead team meetings and communicate updates on process changes, performance goals, and project status.
- Foster accountability, ownership, and collaboration within the team.
- Provide on-the-job training and guidance to help team members meet quality and productivity benchmarks.
- Ensure compliance with client specifications, delivery standards, and data security guidelines.
- Act as the escalation point for technical or operational challenges during shifts.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives and share best practices across shifts and locations.

What You Bring:

- Proven ability to lead teams in a deadline-driven production environment.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Strong understanding of metadata packaging processes, XML validation, and delivery protocols.
- Hands-on experience with Mac and PC environments; familiarity with RDP, VNC, and media workflows.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and manage shifting priorities.
- A high attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends or holidays.
- A proactive mindset focused on mentoring, accountability, and operational excellence.
