General Manager – Production & Quality

Jagannath Polymers Pvt. Ltd., is looking for an experienced and result-oriented skilled to join our team as GeneralManager – Production & Quality.

Location: Jaitpura, Jaipur, Rajasthan
Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹1,00,000 per month
Industry: Plastic / Adaptable Packaging Manufacturing

Key Responsibilities
Strong expertise in Production Planning and Production Management, with responsibility for end-to-end manufacturing operations.
Plan, monitor and achieve production targets while optimizing machine utilization, manpower and raw-material usage.
Improve production efficiency and reduce wastage, downtime, rejection and overall manufacturing costs.
Manage Quality Control processes, including quality standards, process monitoring, inspections and corrective actions.
Lead, supervise, motivate and develop production and quality teams.
Manage shop-floor operations and effectively resolve day-to-day production challenges.
Identify production bottlenecks, analyse root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Drive process optimization, lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements, SOPs, ISO standards and other applicable manufacturing requirements.




Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality, Purchase and other departments to ensure smooth and uninterrupted production.
Monitor production and quality KPIs and provide regular reports and updates to management.

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management or a related field; advanced qualifications will be an advantage.
Proven experience in Production Management, preferably in Plastic, Adaptable Packaging, Film or related manufacturing industries.
Strong hands-on experience in plant operations and production processes.
Production should be the candidate's primary area of expertise, with good understanding of Quality Management.
Experience in handling production teams, supervisors and shop-floor manpower.
Knowledge of ISO systems, productivity improvement, wastage reduction and process optimization will be preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication, leadership and cross-functional coordination skills.
Ability to work full-time on-site at Jaitpura, Jaipur.
