Key Responsibilities
Create and modify CNC programs for CNC Turning / VMC / HMC machines.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and machining specifications.
Develop programs using G-code, M-code and relevant CNC programming software.
Select suitable cutting tools, work-holding methods, speeds, feeds, and machining strategies.
Set and optimize machining parameters to improve cycle time and tool life.
Conduct program simulation and prove-out before production.
Troubleshoot CNC program and machining-related issues.
Coordinate with production, quality, tooling, and design teams.
Make program corrections based on inspection reports and production requirements.
Maintain proper documentation and revision control of CNC programs.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Required Skills
Valuable knowledge of CNC programming and machining processes.
Solid understanding of G-code and M-code.
Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.;
Knowledge of cutting tools, tooling geometry, and machining parameters.
Knowledge of CNC controllers such as Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, or Haas.
