Job Description:
We are looking for a Quality Checker to inspect construction activities and ensure work is completed as per drawings, specifications and required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect ongoing construction work at sites
Check workmanship and material quality
Verify work as per drawings and specifications
Identify defects and quality issues
Coordinate with Site Engineers and contractors for corrections
Conduct regular site quality inspections
Maintain quality checklists and inspection records
Monitor corrective actions and follow up for closure
Prepare basic quality reports
Ensure proper construction practices are followed
Requirements:
Diploma / B.E.
/ B.Tech in Civil Engineering
2–5 years of construction quality experience
Residential construction experience preferred
Positive knowledge of construction materials and workmanship
Ability to read drawings and specifications
Valuable observation and communication skills
Willingness to travel to construction sites in Chennai
