The Role at a Glance
Title: English Teacher (Grades 5–7)
Setting: Full time Boarding Campus
Goal: Nurture confident speakers, thoughtful readers, and creative writers through real-world language practice.
What You’ll Be Doing
In the Classroom:
Deliver interactive lessons covering grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and creative writing.
Spark curiosity with classroom activities like group discussions, book chats, short plays, and creative writing prompts.
Design helpful practice materials and track each child's academic growth with gentle, encouraging feedback.
What We Look For
A degree in English Literature or Education (B.A. / B.Ed. preferred).
Prior experience working with middle schoolers is a welcome bonus.
Robust communication skills and a heart for working with young learners.
Enthusiasm for living and participating in a residential campus setting.
