About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Associate to manage and execute the monthly payroll process while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payouts. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Keka and other HRMS/payroll platforms and a strong understanding of payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end monthly payroll process for employees.
Ensure accurate processing of salaries, deductions, reimbursements, incentives, bonuses, and other payroll components.
Work extensively on Keka and other HRMS/payroll platforms for payroll and employee data management.
Maintain accurate employee payroll records and ensure timely updates in the HRMS.
Coordinate with the HR and Finance teams for payroll inputs, validations, and reconciliation.
Handle Full & Final settlements for exiting employees.
Assist with payroll-related statutory compliance including PF, ESIC, PT, TDS, and other applicable requirements.
Prepare payroll reports, salary statements, reconciliation reports, and other payroll MIS.
Resolve employee queries related to salary, payslips, deductions, reimbursements, and payroll discrepancies.
Coordinate with external payroll consultants/vendors, wherever required.
Ensure confidentiality and security of employee payroll and personal information.
Identify payroll discrepancies and support process improvements and automation.
Requirements
2–3 years of relevant experience in payroll operations.
Hands-on experience with Keka HRMS/payroll is required.
Experience working on other HRMS/payroll platforms will be an advantage.
Good understanding of Indian payroll processes and statutory compliances.
Robust knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets, including payroll data handling and reconciliation.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Valuable communication and coordination skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee information.

Someone who is process-oriented, detail-focused, and comfortable owning payroll operations end-to-end, with the ability to work closely with HR and Finance teams in a rapid-paced workplace.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
