We are looking for a skilled and responsible Ophthalmic Surgical Assistant to join our Ophthalmology team.
Key Responsibilities
Assist ophthalmic surgeons during surgical procedures
Prepare OT, surgical instruments and consumables
Assist with patient preparation and positioning
Maintain strict OT aseptic and infection-control protocols
Handle ophthalmic surgical instruments and equipment
Ensure proper sterilization and OT readiness
Assist with pre-operative and post-operative patient care
Maintain OT records, checklists and inventory
Coordinate with nursing, OT and ophthalmology teams
Preferred Candidate
Experience in Ophthalmic OT / Eye Hospital / Surgical OT
Knowledge of cataract, phaco and other ophthalmic procedures preferred
Positive understanding of sterile techniques and OT protocols
Positive communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital setting
