Responsible for operation, setup, programming, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ALTO CNC Turning Machines used for precision machining of components.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and set up ALTO CNC Turning Machine / CNC Lathe.
Perform turning, facing, grooving, threading, boring and drilling operations.
Tool setting, tool offset correction and workpiece alignment.
Read engineering drawings, dimensions and machining tolerances.
Operate CNC controls such as Fanuc / Siemens, depending on machine configuration.
Perform tool changes and optimize cutting parameters.
Carry out first-piece inspection and dimensional checking.
Troubleshoot machine, CNC, tooling and machining-related issues.
Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance where required.
Maintain production, quality and machine records.
