ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for an experienced and strategic professional to join our Human Resources team as Manager, Talent Management. This is an international HRBP role, partnering with business teams across MENA, India, and Southeast Asia, and shall naturally involve travel to these geographies.

The role involves both advisory and delivery responsibilities, and the person will work closely with Directors and VPs as a thought partner on people strategy while also owning the design and execution of talent programs.

The scope of work spans talent development, careers, performance management, and org design. The expectation is that programs and interventions will be designed keeping the overall organizational strategy in mind, and not as standalone HR initiatives.

The person in this role is expected to identify what needs to be built, think through how it connects to where the organization is headed, and then deliver it. Prior experience in product or technology companies is preferred given the nature of the environment. Having worked in client-facing or product roles is an added advantage, as it brings a useful perspective on how people, processes, and business outcomes interconnect.





Because Darwinbox is an HCM solutions company, the broader HR community here, both within the People team and across the business, carries a high level of HR functional knowledge. The expectation for HR expertise in this role is accordingly high.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

International HR Business Partnering

- Partner with Directors and VPs across MENA, India, and SEA on people priorities, providing advisory support on talent, org structure, and workforce planning.
- Understand and navigate the business and cultural context across geographies to ensure that HR interventions are relevant and effective.
- Build credible working relationships with senior stakeholders that allow for ongoing, substantive dialogue on people matters.

Talent Strategy and Program Design

- Develop and implement talent management strategies that are aligned to the organization's overall direction and business objectives.
- Design programs across the talent lifecycle including development, careers, performance, engagement, and succession.
- Ensure that programs are built for scale and sustainability, not just for immediate needs, and that they can evolve as the organization grows.

Performance Management

- Design and manage the performance management process, including goal setting, evaluation frameworks, calibration, and career development planning.
- Work with business leaders to strengthen performance culture and improve individual and team productivity.
- Use data to track effectiveness of performance interventions and make informed recommendations.

Learning and Development

- Identify learning needs across the organization and build development programs that address capability gaps at individual and team levels.
- Design career development frameworks and learning pathways that are connected to organizational growth and employee progression.
- Create an environment where continuous learning is treated as an integral part of how work gets done.





Succession Planning

- Build and maintain a succession planning process to identify and develop internal talent for critical and leadership roles.
- Work with business leaders to map high-potential employees and create structured development paths for them.

Employee Engagement and Retention

- Develop and execute engagement programs that are relevant across international markets and contribute to a positive and inclusive workplace.
- Implement approaches to improve retention, employee well-being, and overall job satisfaction.
- Use engagement data to have meaningful conversations with business leaders and drive action.

Org Design

- Support organizational design conversations including structure, spans, roles, and team effectiveness.
- Partner with leadership to assess org health and recommend changes that improve performance and agility.

Data and Reporting

- Use HR data and analytics to measure the impact of talent programs and make evidence-based decisions.
- Provide regular reporting to senior management on key HR metrics and the outcomes of ongoing initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Education and Background

- Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years of HR experience, with meaningful exposure to talent management and HR business partnering.
- Prior experience in product or technology companies is strongly preferred.
- Having worked in client-facing or product-facing capacities is an advantage, as it brings applied understanding of how business and people outcomes are connected.
- International HR or cross-geography business partnering experience is preferred. Exposure to MENA, India, or SEA markets is a plus.

Skills and Competencies

- Strong understanding of talent management practices including performance, learning and development, succession, org design, and engagement.
- Ability to work effectively with senior leaders, provide well-reasoned advice, and influence decisions without direct authority.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights and recommendations.
- Good working knowledge of HR practices, employment frameworks, and regulatory considerations across multiple geographies.
- Explicit and effective communicator, both in writing and in conversation.
