Receive and assess patients scheduled for Cath Lab procedures.
Verify patient identity, procedure details, consent, investigations, and relevant medical history.
Ensure required pre-procedure investigations and reports are available.
Prepare patients physically and psychologically for the procedure.
Ensure IV access, pre-procedure medications, and other required preparations are completed as per doctor's orders.
Check allergies, particularly contrast-media allergies, and communicate relevant information to the medical team.
Ensure all required emergency equipment and medications are available.
