Systems Engineer (Application Support)

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer (Application Support) to take ownership of the application management for a large-scale B2C platform. In this hands-on role, you will ensure high availability, SLA compliance, and continuous operational improvements across front-end, back-end, and DevOps environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Application Management: Maintain stable, reliable operations of customer-facing B2C applications in accordance with strict SLAs.
- Incident &
- Problem Management:

Drive root cause analysis (RCA), resolve production incidents, and implement long-term technical fixes.
- Support &
- Enhancements: Handle Tier 2/3 support tickets, implement business enhancement requests, and participate in on-call rotations on a need basis.
- Releases &
- Change Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute software releases, system upgrades, and application changes in collaboration with DevOps and development teams to minimize operational risk.
- Stakeholder Coordination:



Act as the technical interface between operations, developers, architects, and international project stakeholders.

Technical Requirements
- Cloud &
- DevOps:

Microsoft Azure, Azure DevOps, basic Kubernetes (k8s).
- Backend &
- Database: Java-based applications, PostgreSQL databases.
- ITS Tools: IT Service Management systems (e.g., Jira Service Management).

Core Qualifications &
- Competencies

- Methodologies: Strong experience with ITIL service management frameworks (Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Level Management).
- Work Shift Flexibility: Ability and willingness to work in a well-coordinated 24/7 rotational shift model.
- Analytical Skills: Robust troubleshooting, debugging, and systematic root cause analysis capabilities.

- Ownership:

High autonomy, excellent English communication (written and spoken), strong stakeholder management, and a continuous learning mindset.
