We are looking for an experienced System Administrator to join our IT Infrastructure team. The candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting Microsoft endpoint, server, and monitoring technologies. The role requires hands-on experience in Microsoft Intune, SCCM/MECM, BitLocker, File Server/FSRM, and SCOM, along with strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.
Key Responsibilities
Microsoft Intune:
- Manage and administer Microsoft Intune for endpoint management and configuration.
- Create and manage device configuration policies, compliance policies, applications, and security policies.
- Manage Windows device enrollment, Autopilot, and endpoint lifecycle activities.
- Monitor device compliance and remediate endpoint issues.
- Troubleshoot Intune policy, application deployment, and device enrollment issues.
SCCM / Microsoft Configuration Manager:
- Administer and support SCCM/MECM infrastructure and clients.
- Manage software distribution, application deployment, patch management, and Windows updates.
- Create and manage device/user collections and deployment configurations.
- Monitor SCCM client health and troubleshoot client communication and deployment issues.
- Support Operating System Deployment (OSD) and Windows upgrade/migration activities.
- Analyze SCCM logs and troubleshoot deployment and infrastructure-related issues.
BitLocker:
- Manage and support BitLocker encryption for Windows endpoints.
- Configure and manage BitLocker policies through Intune/SCCM.
- Troubleshoot BitLocker encryption, recovery key, and compliance-related issues.
- Manage and support BitLocker recovery key processes.
File Server / FSRM:
- Administer Windows File Servers and shared folder environments.
- Manage File Server Resource Manager (FSRM), including quotas, file screening, and storage reporting.
- Manage NTFS and share permissions in accordance with security and access requirements.
- Troubleshoot file server performance, access, storage, and permission issues.
- Support file server migrations, upgrades, and capacity management.
- Implement and maintain appropriate security and access controls for file shares.
SCOM – System Center Operations Manager:
- Administer and support Microsoft SCOM monitoring infrastructure.
- Configure and manage monitoring rules, alerts, monitors, and management packs.
- Monitor Windows servers and critical infrastructure services.
- Troubleshoot SCOM alerts and monitoring-related issues.
- Perform alert tuning and reduce false-positive alerts.
- Support onboarding and monitoring of new servers and applications.
General Responsibilities:
- Provide L2/L3 technical support for endpoint and infrastructure-related issues.
- Participate in Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent resolutions.
- Participate in infrastructure upgrades, migrations, patching, and technology refresh activities.
- Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and knowledge articles.
- Coordinate with application, network, security, and other infrastructure teams for issue resolution.
- Participate in planned maintenance activities and provide on-call support when required.
- Follow ITIL processes, security standards, and organizational policies.
Required Technical Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune.
- Strong hands-on experience with SCCM/MECM.
- Good knowledge of Windows 10/11 administration.
- Good experience with BitLocker and Windows security policies.
- Hands-on experience with Windows File Server and FSRM.
- Experience with Microsoft SCOM monitoring and alert management.
- Positive understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Windows Server.
- Knowledge of PowerShell scripting and automation is an added advantage.
- Good troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience ------ years of relevant experience in Microsoft endpoint management, Windows infrastructure, and system administration.
