: Supply Chain Manager Quick Commerce

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Quick Commerce Supply Chain Manager to manage appointment-based deliveries to Blinkit, Zepto and Swiggy Instamart warehouses across India.

The candidate must have worked in a similar role with another consumer brand and managed at least 5 crore per month of quick-commerce deliveries. The role covers the complete order cyclefrom PO receipt and appointment booking to transporter allocation, delivery, reconciliation and closure.

Key Responsibilities

Order and Delivery Management

- Review purchase orders and book warehouse delivery appointments.
- Prepare dispatch plans based on confirmed appointments and PO validity.
- Coordinate with production, warehouse and dispatch teams to ensure timely order readiness.
- Track every shipment from dispatch until successful delivery.
- Reschedule missed or cancelled appointments and manage urgent deliveries.
- Resolve delivery delays, rejections, shortages, damages and documentation issues.
- Manage RTOs, returns and proof-of-delivery reconciliation.

Transporter Management

- Identify, onboard and manage transporters across India.
- Ensure timely vehicle placement and compliance with delivery TATs.
- Negotiate freight rates and reduce logistics costs through rate benchmarking, route consolidation and vehicle optimisation.
- Maintain route-wise and vehicle-wise freight rate cards.
- Conduct transporter audits covering rates, billing, documentation, vehicle condition, statutory compliance and service quality.
- Verify transporter invoices and control detention, waiting, cancellation and redelivery charges.
- Develop alternate transporters for critical routes and regularly review vendor performance.

Reporting and Process Improvement





- Maintain accurate trackers for POs, appointments, dispatches, deliveries, shortages, rejections and RTOs.
- Share daily order-status and exception reports.
- Monitor transporter-wise cost, TAT and delivery performance.
- Identify recurring issues and implement corrective actions.
- Improve fill rates, appointment success, delivery TAT and transportation costs.

- Freight cost per shipment or case
- Transportation cost as a percentage of sales

Mandatory Experience

- Experience in the same or a closely comparable quick-commerce supply chain role with another consumer brand.
- Must have managed at least 5 crore per month of quick-commerce deliveries across India.
- Hands-on experience with Blinkit, Zepto and/or Swiggy Instamart warehouse appointments and deliveries.
- Experience in transporter management, freight negotiation, transporter audits and logistics-cost reduction.
- Solid understanding of quick-commerce POs, warehouse processes, delivery documentation and shortage reconciliation.

Candidates without relevant brand-side quick-commerce supply chain experience will not be considered.

Required Skills

- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables and reconciliation.
- Strong planning, negotiation and transporter-management capabilities.
- Ability to manage high order volumes and multiple delivery deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and escalation-management skills.
- High ownership, accuracy, attention to detail and sense of urgency.

Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is analytical, commercially sharp and execution-focused. The person should take complete ownership of every order while consistently improving delivery performance, transporter TAT and logistics costs.
