Qualification
M.Com / CMA Inter or equivalent qualification.
Candidates with relevant manufacturing industry experience will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain product-wise costing and cost sheets.
Calculate and analyze material, labour, overhead, and production costs.
Monitor actual costs against standard/budgeted costs and identify variances.
Assist in preparation of cost estimates for recent and existing products.
Analyze manufacturing expenses and identify areas for cost optimization.
Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Stores, and Accounts teams for costing-related data.
Maintain accurate costing records and MIS reports.
Support monthly costing, inventory valuation, and variance analysis.
Assist in preparing management reports related to product costing and profitability.
Ensure timely and accurate completion of costing-related activities.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of Cost Accounting and Manufacturing Costing.
Positive understanding of BOM, material consumption, labour, and overhead costing.
Good analytical and numerical skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and costing/ERP software.
Ability to analyze cost variances and prepare reports.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Candidate Profile
3–6 years of relevant experience in costing, preferably in a manufacturing organization.
Robust understanding of manufacturing processes and cost structures.
Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
