We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to manage the purchase of factory consumables, MRO items and non-production materials. This role will ensure timely availability of materials, cost efficiency and effective vendor management.
Key Responsibilities
Handle purchase of factory consumables, MRO, maintenance, safety, electrical, hardware and housekeeping items.
Source and develop reliable vendors and negotiate price, quality and payment terms.
Obtain quotations and prepare comparative statements.
Release POs and ensure timely delivery of materials.
Coordinate with Stores, Maintenance, Administration and factory departments.
Monitor stock levels and avoid stock-outs.
Evaluate vendor performance and develop alternate suppliers.
Maintain purchase records and ensure compliance with company policies.
Identify prospects for cost saving and better commercial terms.
Requirements
Graduate with 5–10 years of relevant purchase experience.
Experience in factory consumables / MRO / non-production purchase is preferred.
Good negotiation, vendor management and communication skills.
Positive knowledge of MS Excel and ERP systems.
Note: This is not a Raw Material / Production Procurement role.
