Key Responsibilities
Material Receiving & Inspection: Verify quality, quantity, and specifications of incoming construction materials (e.g., cement, steel, tiles, MEP supplies) against Purchase Orders (POs) and Delivery Notes.
Inventory & Stock Control: Maintain daily logs of stock issuance, transfers, and returns using ERP systems or MS Excel.
Issuance & Documentation: Issue tools and materials to contractors and site workers based on approved Material Requisition Slips (MRS).
Auditing & Reporting: Conduct monthly physical stock counts and reconcile variances with corporate inventory reports.
Site Safety & Organization: Organize the site godown/storehouse neatly following FIFO (First-In, First-Out)
methods to prevent material damage or expiry.
Vendor & Logistics Coordination: Assist the procurement team by reporting low stock levels and coordinating protected delivery schedules.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience: 4 to 5 years of proven store-keeping experience, preferably within real estate construction or infrastructure projects.
