Job Description – EDM Operator
Department: Tool Room
Reporting To: HOD – Tool Room
Qualification: Diploma (Mechanical) / ITI

Skills & Experience
Hands-on experience in operating EDM machines.
Basic knowledge of Vernier Caliper, Height Gauge, and other measuring instruments.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
Knowledge of electrode setting/dialling and EDM machining parameters.

Key Responsibilities
Read drawings and understand machining requirements.
Check job/workpiece dimensions as per drawing.
Perform electrode setting, dialling, and material selection.
Carry out profile EDM machining as per required contour and accuracy.
Load programs and enter parameters manually when required.
Operate and monitor the EDM machine safely.
Maintain machine, workplace, and 5S standards.
Follow quality, health, and safety requirements.
Report machine/process abnormalities to the HOD.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
