Role Description The Study Abroad Advisor is a full-time, in office role based in Kozhikode, responsible for guiding prospective students through their international education options and application processes. Day-to-day tasks include conducting counseling sessions, assessing student profiles, recommending suitable countries, universities, and programs, and explaining admission requirements and timelines.

The role involves supporting students with documentation for university applications and visa files, coordinating with internal teams and international partners, and tracking application progress. The advisor will provide information on scholarships,



financial planning, and post-study opportunities, while ensuring accurate and up-to-date knowledge of admission and visa regulations. The role also includes maintaining detailed records of student interactions, participating in events or seminars, and promoting Gradiks’ services in a professional and ethical manner.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Educational Consulting and general Consulting skills to guide students effectively on study abroad pathways.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills to conduct counseling sessions and build trust with students and families.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of Visas and related documentation processes, especially for key destinations such as Europe and the UK.
- Candidates should possess strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills to manage multiple student cases and deadlines.
- Relevant experience in study abroad, international education, or career counseling is preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree in any discipline, with a background in education, counseling, or international relations considered an advantage.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of local languages (such as Malayalam and Hindi) will be beneficial.
- Comfort with basic computer applications, CRM tools, and online communication platforms to manage student data and follow-ups.
