The Structural Design Faculty role is a full time, on-site position based in Kerala, India. The faculty member will deliver classroom lectures, tutorials, and problem-solving sessions in structural analysis and design, aligned with competitive exams and professional practice requirements. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, developing teaching materials, designing assignments and tests, and providing individual academic support and mentoring to learners.

The role also involves reviewing and updating course content to reflect current standards, codes, and industry practices, as well as collaborating with other faculty to enhance teaching quality and learning outcomes. The faculty member is expected to contribute to academic planning, participate in workshops or seminars, and maintain a professional, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.

Qualifications

- Strong foundation in structural engineering concepts, including structural analysis, design of concrete and steel structures, and familiarity with relevant IS codes and standards.




- Demonstrated ability to teach civil engineering subjects clearly, with skills in lesson planning, classroom instruction, and student mentoring.
- Proficiency in using structural design software (e.g., STAAD, ETABS, SAP2000) and basic CAD tools for explaining practical design applications.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics in an accessible manner.
- Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution; teaching or coaching experience is an advantage.
- Commitment to learner-focused teaching, academic integrity, and creating an inclusive environment for learners from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, manage time effectively, and contribute to continuous improvement of course content and teaching methods.
