Structural Engineer - RCC / Industrial Construction

Penta Energy Services Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to join our project team for a major Waste-to-Energy Plant civil construction project at Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh.

The candidate will be responsible for structural execution, technical coordination, drawings, reinforcement detailing, quantity verification, quality control and site supervision of RCC and structural works.

- Review and interpret structural drawings, GFC drawings, design drawings and specifications.
- Supervise execution of RCC structures, foundations, columns, beams, slabs, walls and other structural elements.
- Review reinforcement drawings and ensure correct rebar size, spacing, lap length, anchorage and development length.
- Prepare and verify Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) and reinforcement quantities.
- Coordinate with the Design/Engineering Consultant, Planning Engineer, QA/QC Engineer and Site Execution Team.
- Resolve site-level structural and technical issues in coordination with the consultant/client.
- Check formwork, reinforcement and embedded items before concrete pouring.
- Ensure construction is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, method statements and ITP requirements.
- Monitor concrete works including pour sequence, construction joints, shuttering and dimensional accuracy.




- Verify structural quantities for RA bills and subcontractor measurements.
- Assist in preparation of material requirements and procurement plans for structural works.
- Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, inspections, measurements and site instructions.
- Coordinate with surveyors for levels, alignment, dimensions and structural setting-out.
- Identify discrepancies between drawings, BOQ and actual site conditions and raise technical queries where required.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety and project specifications.
- Monitor subcontractor productivity and ensure works are completed as per the project schedule.

Preferred candidate profile

- Strong knowledge of RCC construction and structural execution.
- Good understanding of reinforcement detailing and BBS.
- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
- Knowledge of IS Codes and construction specifications.
- Knowledge of concrete, reinforcement, formwork and structural QA/QC requirements.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and quantity calculations.
- Knowledge of STAAD.Pro / ETABS will be an added advantage.
- Experience in handling large-scale industrial / infrastructure / power / WTE projects will be preferred.

Salary: 75,000 – 80,000 per month
