Ledvore is hiring a Structural Design Engineer to support structural design and analysis work for our international clients in the industrial sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop structural components/assemblies based on customer requirements and specifications specifically for Balconies.
- Perform structural analysis and calculations to ensure design integrity, strength, and compliance with relevant standards
- Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software
- Conduct DFM (Design for Manufacturability) reviews and optimize designs for cost, weight, and manufacturability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, quality, project management) to resolve design issues
- Support FEA (Finite Element Analysis)
or coordinate with analysis teams where required
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, design reports, and BOMs
- Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback from internal and client stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Structural/Civil Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of experience in structural design, ideally in industrial equipment, or heavy machinery
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks)
- Working knowledge of structural analysis principles and standards
- Familiarity with GD&T; and engineering drawing standards
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Valuable written and spoken English communication skills
