Position: Strategic Sourcing Manager

Department: Supply Chain Procurement

Experience: 5+ years

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and manage the supplier base to achieve the best value, quality, and total cost.

- Conduct market research and analyze supplier capabilities, industry trends, and market conditions.

- Lead the selection, nomination, onboarding, and contract management of new suppliers.

- Develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for key commodities, materials, components, and services.

- Lead supplier negotiations covering cost, quality, lead time, delivery, payment terms, and other commercial conditions.

- Monitor and improve supplier performance in coordination with Material Planning and Supplier Quality teams.

- Support regional and global Supply Chain initiatives, strategic planning, budgeting, and sourcing projects.

- Identify and implement cost-reduction, process-improvement, and supplier-development initiatives.

- Build robust relationships and strategic partnerships with key suppliers.

- Collaborate with Engineering, Innovation, Quality, Planning, and other cross-functional teams to support new product and process initiatives.

- Ensure sourcing activities and projects are completed within agreed timelines.





- Coach and mentor sourcing team members and support cross-functional problem-solving initiatives.

Key Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, Supplier Development, Quality Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.

- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

- Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, procurement practices, supplier management, contract management, and supplier risk assessment.

- Proven negotiation skills with experience in achieving cost savings and improving supplier performance.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and project management skills.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience working with cross-functional and regional/global teams.

- Advanced experience in Supplier Development and Quality Processes.

- Leadership experience with the ability to coach and mentor team members.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong presentation and written communication skills.

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Quality Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
