About the Role

We are looking for a energetic, customer-focused, and responsible Store Manager to manage the complete operations of our ice cream store in White Town, Pondicherry. The candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing the store team, maintaining operational standards, and ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the complete day-to-day operations of the ice cream store.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales and revenue targets.
- Drive store sales through customer engagement, upselling, and excellent service.
- Monitor Average Order Value (AOV) and overall store performance.
- Manage, train, and motivate the store team.
- Prepare staff duty rosters and manage shifts effectively.
- Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, grooming, and discipline.
- Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer complaints professionally.
- Maintain high standards of store cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of ice cream and other products.
- Monitor inventory, stock movement, wastage, and product expiry.
- Coordinate with the supply chain team for timely stock replenishment.
- Ensure accurate billing and proper handling of cash, card, and UPI transactions.
- Monitor POS operations and resolve billing-related issues.
- Ensure freezers, equipment, and store assets are maintained properly.
- Report maintenance requirements and equipment breakdowns promptly.
- Ensure adherence to company SOPs and food-safety standards.




- Monitor customer feedback and take corrective action where required.
- Support initiatives to increase store footfall, repeat visits, and customer retention.
- Prepare and share daily store reports covering sales, stock, attendance, and operational issues.
- Coordinate with the Operations and Management teams for store requirements.
- Support marketing campaigns, offers, and promotional activities.

Candidate Profile

- 2–5 years of experience in Retail, QSR, Café, Restaurant, Ice Cream, or F&B; operations.
- Previous experience managing a store and team will be preferred.
- Strong communication and customer-handling skills.
- Good leadership and team-management abilities.
- Sales-oriented with a focus on achieving targets.
- Ability to handle customer complaints and operational challenges.
- Basic knowledge of POS systems, inventory management, and daily reporting.
- Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Prior experience in ice cream, QSR, cafe, or F&B; retail will be preferred.
- Fluency in Tamil and English will be preferred.

Education

Graduate in any discipline preferred.

Compensation

Salary: As per experience and industry standards.

Joining: Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period will be preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
