Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Store In-Charge to manage the complete store and inventory operations, including material receiving, inspection, storage, issue, stock control, documentation and reconciliation. The person will ensure the availability of materials as per production requirements while maintaining accurate inventory records.

Key Responsibilities

1. Store Operations

- Manage day-to-day store and warehouse activities.
- Ensure proper receipt, storage and issue of materials.
- Maintain systematic storage and identification of materials.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and material handling within the store.

2. Material Receipt & Inspection

- Receive materials against Purchase Orders, delivery challans and invoices.
- Verify quantity, specifications and condition of materials.
- Coordinate with Purchase and QA/QC for material inspection.
- Report shortages, damages or discrepancies immediately.

3. Inventory Management

- Maintain accurate stock records for raw materials, consumables, tools and finished goods.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification.
- Investigate and report stock discrepancies.
- Control material wastage, damage and unauthorized usage.

4. Material Issue

- Issue materials against approved material requisitions/indent.
- Maintain proper records of all material movements.




- Ensure materials are issued according to project/production requirements.
- Monitor return of unused materials and reusable items.

5. Documentation & ERP

- Maintain GRN, issue slips, material transfer notes and other store documents.
- Update stock entries in ERP/Tally or inventory management software.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly inventory reports.
- Maintain proper filing of store-related documents.

6. Coordination

- Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Projects, Accounts, QA/QC and Dispatch teams.
- Inform Purchase/Management about material shortages and upcoming requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors regarding material deliveries when required.

7. Safety & Housekeeping

- Ensure safe stacking and storage of materials.
- Follow proper handling procedures for heavy and hazardous materials.
- Ensure proper use of PPE inside the store/warehouse.
- Maintain good housekeeping and safety standards.

Qualification & Skills

- Graduate / Diploma in any relevant discipline.
- 4–8 years of experience in Stores/Warehouse, preferably in PEB, structural steel, construction or manufacturing.
- Positive knowledge of inventory management and material handling.
- Working knowledge of ERP/Tally and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of GRN, material requisition, stock registers and reconciliation.
- Strong coordination and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to manage store manpower and multiple material movements.
- Good understanding of PEB/steel materials, consumables, hardware and fabrication items will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
