Job Summary

We are looking for a Storage Engineer with Japanese language proficiency to support enterprise-level storage infrastructure and collaborate with Japanese-speaking clients and technical teams.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in storage administration, along with strong Japanese communication skills (JLPT N2/N1). Experience with NetApp, ONTAP, backup, disaster recovery, and ITSM tools will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, deploy, configure, and manage enterprise storage solutions.
- Perform storage provisioning, data migration, replication, and backup configuration.
- Monitor storage capacity, performance, availability, and overall health.
- Troubleshoot and resolve storage-related incidents and technical issues.
- Provide L1/L2/L3 support for complex storage infrastructure issues.
- Work closely with system, server, backup, cloud, and infrastructure teams.
- Communicate with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders to understand and clarify technical requirements.
- Translate technical requirements and information between Japanese and English when required.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation in English and Japanese.
- Manage incidents, problems, and service requests using ITSM processes.
- Follow ITIL processes, operational procedures, and organizational standards.
- Support continuous improvement of storage infrastructure and operational processes.

Required Skills
- 3+ years of overall IT experience.




- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in Storage Administration.
- Strong proficiency in Japanese language – JLPT N2 or N1.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in Japanese and English.
- Experience with enterprise storage environments.
- Knowledge of storage provisioning, replication, migration, and backup.
- Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
- Understanding of incident and problem management processes.
- Ability to work in morning and afternoon shifts supporting APAC and Europe.

Positive to Have
- Hands-on experience with NetApp storage.
- Knowledge of ONTAP / Cloud Volumes ONTAP.
- NetApp certifications such as NCDA or NCIE.
- Knowledge of SAN/NAS environments.
- Understanding of backup and disaster recovery concepts.
- Experience working with Japanese clients or Japanese-speaking offshore/onshore teams.
- Exposure to hybrid cloud storage environments.

Maximum CTC: ₹18 LPA

Employment: Full-Time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹1,800,000.00 per year
