Role & responsibilities

- Replenishing stock inventories in accordance with established company policies and procedures.

- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment in compliance with applicable government regulations and safety standards.

- Managing and optimizing store and warehouse layouts for efficient inventory handling and accessibility.

- Supervising store staff, allocating responsibilities, and maintaining accurate sales records.

- Receiving, loading, unloading, and shelving supplies and materials.

- Performing inventory-related activities, including returns, packaging, labeling, pricing, and stock adjustments.

- Inspecting incoming deliveries for quantity discrepancies, quality issues, and damages.

- Reporting damaged or defective inventory and maintaining proper records for reimbursement and corrective action.

- Monitoring stock rotation and ensuring timely disposal of surplus, obsolete, and expired materials.

- Coordinating freight, logistics, and movement of materials and equipment within the warehouse and store.

- Ensuring proper identification, segregation, and organized allocation of inventory across warehouse and store locations.





- Cross-verifying monthly inventory and stock reports to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

- Ensuring accurate and timely completion of documentation for purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and material procurement.

- Preparing and generating Material Received Reports (MRR) accurately and within the required timelines.

- Ensuring proper storage and rotation of materials using the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method.

- Maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting periodic stock verification and reconciliation activities.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's degree in any field.

- Proven experience as a Store Assistant or similar role in the Power distribution projects , construction industry.

- Strong knowledge of store management principles and practices.

- Excellent communication and organizational skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced workplace.

- Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.
