Key Responsibilities:
3D & 2D CAD Development: Develop 2D and 3D models of recent products and parts using CATIA V5, in compliance with customer specifications.
Product Design: Collaborate on the conceptual design and proposal of new automotive lighting products.
Engineering Change Management: Prepare and implement engineering changes as per the approved change notes.
Quality Interaction: Liaise with the quality and testing departments for part inspections and approvals.
BOM Preparation: Create Bills of Materials (BOM) and material Specifications for new products.
Project Coordination: Assist in preliminary project planning, coordination, and tracking of design activities.
Customer Interaction: Engage with customers for drawing approvals and technical discussions.
Requirements:
Educational Background: B.E in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in CATIA V5 (Plastic Domain preferred).
Experience: 0 to 1 years of experience in the Design of Plastic Automotive Lighting Systems.
Technical Skills: Proficient in CATIA V5, plastic Injection Molding, 3D modeling, DFMEA, BOM preparation, and engineering change management.
Communication Skills: Strong communication skills in English, Marathi, and Hindi.
Software Proficiency: Expertise in CATIA V5 is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in APQP Homologation tests on lighting parts.
Familiarity with GD&T; and Plastic Tooling and assembly.
