Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Purchase/Sourcing qualified to manage end-to-end procurement activities for our automotive manufacturing operations. The role involves supplier management, cost optimization, and ensuring timely availability of materials to support uninterrupted production.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end procurement of electronic components.
- Source ICs, semiconductors, sensors, connectors, resistors, capacitors, relays and other electronic components.
- Identify, evaluate and develop new suppliers and manage existing supplier relationships.
- Float RFQs, evaluate quotations, prepare cost comparisons and negotiate commercial terms.
- Prepare and manage Cost Cards / PFS as per company guidelines.
- Release and manage Purchase Orders and Schedule Agreements.
- Drive cost reduction, localization and supplier development initiatives.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Production, SCM and NPD teams for sourcing requirements.




- Monitor supplier performance for quality, cost, delivery and capacity.
- Ensure timely availability of electronic components to avoid production line stoppages.
- Support new project sourcing and NPD procurement.
- Manage procurement risks and resolve critical supplier/material availability issues.

Key Requirements

- Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Electronics / E&TC; / Electrical.
- 5+ years of experience in Purchase/Procurement/Sourcing of electronic components – Mandatory.
- Strong experience in supplier development, commercial negotiation, costing and vendor management.
- Good understanding of electronic components and their sourcing/manufacturing processes.
- Experience in automotive electronics / electronics manufacturing will be preferred.
- PCB/PCBA experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Good communication, negotiation and analytical skills.
