Role Description The Sr.

Automation

Engineer (Beckhoff - PTP & NC with G-Code expertise, CNC skillset) is a full-time, on-site role based in Kochi. This position is responsible for designing, configuring, and programming Beckhoff-based automation systems, with a strong focus on CNC applications, motion control, and G-Code implementation. Day-to-day tasks include developing and integrating PTP and NC motion solutions, commissioning and testing equipment, and optimizing process control for reliable and efficient operation.

The engineer will diagnose and resolve system issues, collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer-specific requirements, and prepare technical documentation and support materials.



The role also involves continuous improvement of existing automation solutions and mentoring junior team members on best practices and safety standards.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid Automation and Process Control skills, including experience with CNC systems, motion control (PTP & NC), and G-Code programming.
- Candidates should possess solid Electrical Engineering skills, with the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and work with industrial control hardware.
- Candidates should possess advanced Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and communication issues in complex automation setups.
- Candidates should possess Robotics and related control system skills, including integration of robotic components into automated production lines.
- Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Instrumentation Engineering (or equivalent technical discipline).
- Hands-on experience with Beckhoff controllers, TwinCAT, industrial communication protocols, and safety standards in automated environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with effective communication skills and the capacity to work collaboratively on-site with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in industrial automation projects, commissioning, and customer-facing technical support is highly beneficial.
