Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting or LCCI (III) accounting qualifications are preferred.
At least 2 – 3 years of relevant experience in General Accounting, preferably in a group of companies, trading, manufacturing, retail or service business environment.
Solid understanding of accounting principles, double-entry bookkeeping, general ledger, journal entries, AP/AR, bank reconciliation, accruals, prepayments and financial reporting.
Positive understanding of Myanmar accounting and tax requirements, statutory documentation and financial compliance procedures.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and accounting software/ERP systems; solid Excel skills and experience with financial reporting tools are preferred.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze financial information, identify discrepancies, perform reconciliations and resolve accounting issues accurately.
Responsible, trustworthy, organized, detail-oriented and able to maintain confidentiality, meet deadlines and work effectively with cross-functional teams under pressure.

Job Specification
Manage daily accounting transactions, journal entries,



general ledger postings and ensure all financial records are complete and accurate.
Record and monitor accounts payable and receivable transactions, verify invoices, follow up on outstanding balances and ensure timely payment and collection.
Perform regular bank, cash, supplier, customer and other balance reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including account adjustments, accruals, prepayments, depreciation and preparation of supporting schedules.
Prepare monthly financial reports, trial balances, account schedules, and other management reports in accordance with company requirements and reporting deadlines.
Prepare and maintain tax-related documents, support tax calculations and submissions and ensure accounting records comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Maintain proper financial documentation and filing systems and provide necessary schedules and supporting documents for internal and external audits.
