Position: Senior Steward

Department: Food & Beverage / Restaurant Operations

Reports To: Restaurant Manager / F&B; Manager

Salary : 13000-14500 per month

Job Summary The Senior Steward is responsible for supervising service staff and ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality food and beverage service. The role involves coordinating daily operations, maintaining service standards, handling guest requirements, and supporting the restaurant team.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and guide stewards and junior service staff during daily operations.
- Allocate duties and work stations to team members.
- Ensure tables, dining areas, service stations, and equipment are clean and properly maintained.
- Welcome guests and provide professional and courteous service.
- Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely service.
- Monitor food presentation, portioning, and service standards.
- Handle guest requests, complaints, and special requirements professionally.
- Ensure proper handling of crockery, cutlery, glassware, and service equipment.
- Check opening and closing duties and ensure all areas are ready for service.
- Maintain hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards according to company policies.




- Train and assist new team members in service procedures and standards.
- Monitor stock levels of service items and report shortages or damages.
- Support the Restaurant/F&B; Manager in achieving operational and customer-service goals.
- Prepare or assist with daily reports, checklists, and shift handovers.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum .1-2 years of experience in restaurant, hotel, banquet, or hospitality operations.
- Previous experience in a supervisory/service role preferred.
- Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer-service orientation.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Good knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage busy service periods.
- Basic knowledge of hygiene and food-safety standards.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.

Working Conditions
- Full-time position.
- Flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Requires standing and moving for extended periods.
- May involve working in a fast-paced restaurant, hotel, banquet, or hospitality environment.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹14,500.00 per month
