- Senior Quality Engineer - Automation and AI Testing

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer who can work independently as well as collaboratively, owns quality end-to-end, and confidently engages with clients. The ideal candidate is highly professional, technically strong, and brings a mature approach to automation and delivery.

In addition to strong automation expertise, the candidate should be comfortable working with modern AI-powered applications and leveraging AI-assisted tools to improve testing efficiency, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks.

Implement automated tests using Playwright.

Perform API testing and automation using Bruno.

Monitor application performance and quality using Datadog.

Work closely with clients to understand requirements and provide quality solutions.

Lead discussions, provide estimations, and present testing status to stakeholders.

Ensure high standards of quality, reliability, and documentation.

Design and execute test strategies for AI-enabled features, including validation of AI-generated outputs, prompt workflows, and user interactions.

Leverage AI tools and copilots to improve test case generation, automation efficiency, defect analysis, and overall QA productivity.

Required Skills

8-12 years of experience in test automation.

Strong hands-on experience with Playwright, Bruno, and Datadog.

Solid understanding of automation frameworks and testing strategies.

Excellent communication and client-handling skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.

Highly qualified attitude with a strong ownership mindset.

Understanding of AI-powered applications, Generative AI concepts, and LLM-based systems.

Experience using AI-assisted tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot,



Claude, Gemini, Cursor, etc.) to enhance testing and development workflows.

Ability to validate AI application behavior, prompt flows, response quality, edge cases, and guardrail compliance.

Nice to Have

Experience in Agile / Scrum environments.

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.

Experience mentoring or leading QA teams.

Experience testing Generative AI, Conversational AI, Agentic AI, or LLM-based applications.

Familiarity with prompt engineering, AI evaluation techniques, hallucination testing, and response quality assessment.

Exposure to AI testing and evaluation tools such as LangSmith, Promptfoo, DeepEval, or similar platforms.

Experience working with RAG-based applications, AI Agents, or chatbot solutions.
