Job Summary

Design, build, and maintain automated test suites for OSS services covering provisioning and service activation, fault management, performance management, configuration management, and network/service inventory. Own end-to-end and integration testing across OSS microservices and the interfaces to the NTN core, gateways, and network elements.

Responsibilities

- Design, build, and maintain automated test suites for OSS services - provisioning and service activation, fault management, performance management, configuration management, and network/service inventory

- Own end-to-end and integration testing across OSS microservices and the interfaces to the NTN core, gateways, and network elements

- Validate service assurance flows - alarm handling, event correlation, KPI/performance collection, and SLA monitoring

- Build and extend test automation frameworks (API, service, and data-layer) and wire them into CI/CD so quality gates run on every change

- Validate integrations and data flows between OSS systems and network elements, including API contracts, event/message flows, and data consistency

- Define test strategy and coverage for new OSS features, working with engineers and product from design through release

- Investigate failures across distributed systems - trace issues through logs, message queues, and databases, and drive them to root cause

- Contribute to non-functional testing (performance, resilience, data integrity) for high-throughput provisioning and monitoring flows

- Mentor engineers on test design and quality practices

Requirements





- 5+ years in QA/test engineering with meaningful time testing telecom OSS systems (provisioning/activation, fault or performance management, service assurance, or network inventory)

- Solid test automation skills in Python and/or Java, with frameworks such as pytest, TestNG, REST Assured, or Selenium

- Solid API testing experience (REST, Postman/Newman) and comfort validating contracts between services

- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases, and experience validating data across systems

- Experience testing microservices and event-driven architectures (eg, Kafka or similar messaging)

- Hands-on with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar) and integrating automated tests into them

- Strong debugging instincts across distributed systems with a habit of driving issues to root cause

Nice to Have

- Familiarity with 3GPP/NTN or cellular core network concepts (5G core, network functions, service activation)

- Exposure to TM Forum Open APIs or standard OSS reference models (FCAPS, service assurance frameworks)

- Experience with network monitoring, alarm/event correlation, or telemetry pipelines

- Performance and load testing experience (JMeter, k6, Gatling, or Locust)

- Containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS or GCP)
