Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior PHP & React Developer to join our team and take ownership of building, maintaining, and scaling high-performance web applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in PHP, CodeIgniter, React, and AWS EC2, with a solid understanding of both backend and frontend development.

This is a hands-on technical ownership role where you will be responsible for end-to-end feature development, architecture decisions, performance optimization, API integrations, deployments, and guiding a small team of developers.

Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and enhance production-grade web applications using PHP, CodeIgniter, and React
- Take end-to-end ownership of features from requirement analysis to development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable backend architectures
- Develop responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services
- Work with databases and optimize queries for application performance
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS EC2
- Configure and troubleshoot application environments on AWS
- Collaborate with UI/UX, QA, product, and backend/frontend teams
- Drive technical decisions and establish coding best practices
- Break down requirements into technical tasks and ensure timely delivery
- Mentor and guide a team of 3 5 developers from a technical perspective
- Conduct code reviews and maintain high coding and security standards




- Debug production issues and perform root-cause analysis
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
- Participate in technical discussions with stakeholders and provide feasible implementation approaches

Qualifications

- 5 7 years of professional web development experience
- Robust hands-on experience with PHP
- Strong expertise in CodeIgniter framework
- Strong hands-on experience with React.js
- Good understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Strong experience in developing and consuming REST APIs
- Hands-on experience with AWS EC2
- Good understanding of server deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Strong knowledge of MySQL / relational databases
- Experience with database design and query optimization
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles
- Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows
- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills
- Experience in developing and maintaining live/production applications
- Good understanding of authentication, authorization, API security, and secure coding practices
- Experience with other AWS services.
- Knowledge of Linux server administration
- Experience with third-party payment gateway integrations
- Experience with Firebase or notification services
- Understanding of application monitoring, logging, and error reporting tools
- Basic understanding of system design and cloud architecture
