We collect intelligence from the grassroots — running field surveys, impact evaluations, and policy research across India and South Asia, working with clients like the World Bank, UNDP, Mastercard, Google, and GSMA. Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced, methodologically rigorous Senior Lead - M&E; to oversee complex impact evaluations, quantitative social research, and large-scale field studies. You will bring deep technical fluency in causal inference, a track record of executing multi-region primary data collection.

Key Responsibilities

I. Methodological Design & Advanced Analytics

- Causal Inference & Experimental Design
- Sampling & Power Calculations




- Data Quality & Reproducibility
- Synthesis & Policy Translation

II. Field Operations & Quality Assurance

- Contextualization of research tools
- Review complex digital survey instruments
- Logistics & Financial Oversight
- High-frequency data checks (HFCs), and back-checks
- Stakeholder management and sampling strategies

III. Technical & Analytical Competencies

- Advanced Statistics/Econometrics
- High fluency in STATA along with advanced SurveyCTO / XLSForms programming
- Automated data monitoring scripts
- Evidence-Informed Design
- Embedding M&E; findings directly into live program iterations
- Complex statistical findings through explicit, actionable visualizations

What You Must Have / Non-negotiable

- 9+ years of experience in impact evaluation, quantitative development research within international NGO, or development / M&E; / Social Sector, multilaterals (e.g., World Bank, UN agencies), or major global foundations
- Knowledge in counterfactual evaluation methodologies, sampling strategies
- Ability to manage timelines, and project deliverables
- Expertise in baseline-to-endline panel tracking across rural/urban field settings
- Preferred knowledge in Stata/R (reproducible coding practices) and SurveyCTO/XLSForms
