Role & responsibilities -

Sr Engineer, In-charge QA-Std room, Calibration & Metallurgy test lab:

Responsibility-

- Reporting to HOD-QA.
- Experience: 7-8 yrs
- Should be a certified internal auditor of IATF 16949 QMS & has experience of min 5 years of doing QMS audits & handling final inspection, in-process inspection area.
- Must have experience of handling AOI (Auto-optical-inspection) systems,
- Must have expertise in CMM complex programming (Zeiss, Accurate, Hexagon), various gauges & fixtures designing.
- Calibration of Various gauges & equipment
- Expertise in understanding of GD & T, having experience of working in Gauges machining setting will be preferred.
- Having experience of working in calibration laboratories on senior position will be preferred.
- Having experience of Metallurgy laboratory test methods & Heat treatment process sample verification.
- Responsible for Procurement of Inspection and test equipment, guide and help the user department for selection of Instrument, Measuring and Test Equipment.




- Communicate the schedule of calibration to user.
- Plan and calibrate the monitoring and measuring devices (MMD) in- house & from outside recognized laboratory.
- Store the spares of instrument in identified area.
- Maintaining Calibration records in house and outside.
- Responsible for procurement of MMD in case of out of calibration / suspected.
- Responsible for identification of MMD.
- Maintain calibration status of all MMD across the organization.
- Responsible for repair activity in case of MMD damaged.
- Maintenance of calibration masters at controlled conditions.
- Updating of in process & testing facility.
- Ensure laboratory test methods & all Heat treatment process sample verification.
- Responsible for MSA study as observer.
- Maintain record of MSA, Calibration.
- To make sure that all employees working under him are familiar with QMS policy, objectives,
