About the Role

Ingeniworx is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to support enterprise cybersecurity operations for U.S.-based environments.

This is a hands-on engineering role responsible for Palo Alto firewall administration, Microsoft Defender security operations, incident response, email security, DLP, vulnerability remediation, and security platform integration.

The successful candidate will serve as a senior technical escalation point, work directly with U.S.-based teams, and help improve security controls, operational processes, and platform stability.

This position requires daily collaboration during U.S. Eastern Time business hours.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer and optimize Palo Alto firewalls and network security controls.
- Create, maintain, and troubleshoot firewall security policies.
- Manage Prisma Access and Security Cloud Manager (SCM) configurations.
- Support Microsoft Defender security technologies including:

- Defender for Endpoint

- Defender for Office 365

- Microsoft Defender XDR

- Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
- Investigate and resolve complex cybersecurity incidents.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions.
- Support vulnerability remediation activities.
- Troubleshoot email security, mail flow, security detections, and enforcement policies.
- Manage secure external connectivity including:

- SFTP/FTP

- PGP

- SSH Keys

- Certificates

- Vendor connectivity
- Support audit preparation, evidence collection, and compliance initiatives.
- Create and maintain security baselines, standards, documentation, and engineering procedures.
- Coordinate with network,



infrastructure, cloud, application, and operations teams.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum 5 years of cybersecurity or information security experience.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on security engineering experience.
- Robust experience with Palo Alto firewall administration and troubleshooting.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Defender security platform.
- Experience supporting enterprise security environments.
- Experience with incident response and vulnerability remediation.
- Experience implementing and supporting cybersecurity solutions in regulated environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in Healthcare, Insurance, Banking, or other regulated industries.
- Experience supporting U.S.-based organizations.
- Experience with Microsoft Sentinel.
- Experience managing enterprise security operations.
